Where have I been, hey what day is it ?

What a year we have had so far, every thing from the weather to natural disasters that have decimated the world in general and of course the war still wages on. Our first Black President, having completed his first year in office still have his hands full. Not only in dealing with our foreign neighbors and attempting to realign this country with those neighbors that have been alienated by previous administrations, but also with the people that should be backing him in this country, those that are within his own democratic party, and of course those that are not. The Republican party has always been opposed to any changes in government policy proposed by the democrats regardless of the intent, irregardless of good or bad programs, it seems if they didn't suggest it, it's not worth the bother, even if they agree with it, it have to be in their own words , not withstanding having checks and balances as any democracy should have, there have been an outright defiance and subversion to what ever this president attempts to do for the good of the country. Everything from his foreign policy to the now embattled health care reform. And I am more than aware that every new president has to overcome the established status quo of a past administration, that's understood, as most people are resistant , that is..., to a certain extent... change. The economy have had its ups and downs, with businesses failing or in the very least, struggling to survive during a time of bank upheavals, job loss, product recalls and climate changes. This is a new beginning for all of us, a day without challenge is a day without life, we all have a part that we must contribute to make this world a better place to live, work and play. From the smallest to the largest, from the youngest to the oldest. It does not matter your race, color, ethnic, or religious back ground, we all have to live in this world. We are challenged by our creator to not only love him but to love each other, Matthew 22:37 Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:39 Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. I have manage to tread water in this ever changing tide and currents, times have been difficult, however I have kept God as my guidance counsellor, my pilot and placed him first and foremost in all that I do. I give thanks to him for all that he has and still is doing in my life. so for now, I will say until next time, may God continual to bless and keep you
